Dr. Bailey is a psychoanalytic clinician, primarily working from an object relations theory perspective, who specializes in providing individual psychotherapy to those navigating severe dissociation and/or personality disorders. In addition to their role as a professor, Dr. Bailey maintains a private practice where they supervise postdoctoral associates interested in taking on these clinical specialties. As a graduate of Mills College, a historically all women鈥檚 institution, Dr. Bailey is dedicated to navigating and exploring the discourse between clinical psychology and frameworks of decoloniality that center a primary approach to intersectionality. Dr. Bailey is also an expert in working with the trans and gender expansive community.
